Vermentino di Sardegna with D.O.C. Appellation (RDO, Registered Designation of Origin)

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
Colour: straw-yellow, with greenish reflections.
Scent: intense, fresh and fruity, with white-fleshed fruit hints.
Taste: enveloping and gentle, with a full-bodied and soft taste

PRODUCTION AREA:
Territory of Senorbì, characterized by medium-textured mixed soils consisting of clayey limestone, medium hilly position.
PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY: great care in deciding the ideal time for the grape harvest so as to achieve the right sugar – acid balance. The wine is fermented at low temperatures in order to enhance its characteristics. After a period of refining in steel, the wine is bottled.
AGEING: To be drunk young, within two years after harvest.
STORAGE TEMPERATURE: 18 – 20 °C in a cool, dry place away from light.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: to be served fresh (10-12 °C).
FOOD PAIRINGS: seafood-based appetizers, first courses – even tasty and grilled fish.
